CHALLENGE
This project challenges designers to develop a digital product from discovery through final prototype, grounding every decision in user research and strategic planning. Beginning with competitive audits and behavioral research, the process moves through information architecture, wireframing, usability testing, and ultimately high-fidelity UI execution. The goal is to translate user insights into a cohesive, systemized experience that balances functionality, brand expression, and intuitive interaction.
SOLUTION
Sustainability often feels abstract, distant, or too big to measure. Serre reframes it as something personal and visible, translating real-world eco actions into the steady growth of a virtual greenhouse. Each recycled item, conserved resource, or mindful choice nurtures a living digital space, allowing users to see their impact accumulate over time. The app pairs this progress with real-time plant education and encouragement to care for plants beyond the screen, bridging awareness with tangible action. Its identity reflects this philosophy of cultivation and resilience, drawing from the greenhouse as a space where growth is both protected and propelled outward. A mark inspired by stained glass frames a plant stretching past its boundaries, while a deep burgundy and soft green palette conveys warmth and maturity, positioning sustainability not as trend-driven, but as intentional and enduring.
